In his presentation, Tibor Schwarcz, Head of the Environmental Protection and Nature Conservation Division of the Government Office for Baranya County, described the permitting process and its statutory background, then Dr Attila Aszódi, Government Commissioner responsible for the maintenance of the capacity of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, presented the results of the Environmental Impact Statement. After that, the experts of the competent authority and the Company and the representatives of the Prime Minister’s Office answered more than 70 questions.
