Constructing the facilities of the CEB
During the implementation of the construction and erection base (CEB) of the Paks II. investment, more than 110 facilities are needed to be built there.

The two new Paks NPP units will replace the current ones.

The fixed price means the amount of 12,5 bn EUR of the investment won’t be higher.

Storable fuel
Nuclear fuel can be stored safely, in a small space in huge amounts, and can be bought from several sources.

The nuclear power plants contribute to the affordable price of domestic electricity significantly.

Nuclear power plants cannot be ignored in the fight against climate change.

Safe
The new Paks units will be of the safest, generation 3+ technology.
New facilities of the Construction and Erection Base have recently received a construction license from the Hungarian Atomic Energy Agency (HAEA).
At the meeting of Péter Szijjártó and Alexey Likhachev, the director general of Rosatom confirmed: his company is able to implement the investment.
The Western European and US suppliers of the Paks II. investment declared clearly, they want to continue the cooperation.
In 2021 there was a 30 days worth of time period, when Hungarian electricity consumption was covered by at least 40% of import.
